Who I am & What I do

I have been fascinated with photography since as long as I can remember: it has definitely been a long-term love affair! In the last 4 years, I have really begun to develop my technical skills, invest in the necessary equipment, and to share my imagery  via social media.  I work full time as an environmental professional but have found that I can no longer suppress my creative side, so photography is my outlet.

I have travelled the world, and while I miss the motherland (Scotland), I feel most at home in or by the Ocean. My main passion is underwater photography, but I also really enjoy venturing onto land and photographing landscapes and portraits, particular if it involves mermaids or wildlife!

Where I live & What I love Shooting

Gladstone is located on the coast in Central Queensland and is the gateway to the southern portion of the Great Barrier Reef. This is where I currently live.

We are fortunate to have the incredible Southern Great Barrier Reef right on our doorstep, as well as some pretty incredible beaches and outdoor locations, that also make for stunning photo locations!

I love wide angle wildlife and mermaid underwater photography. Although more of a macrofauna addict these days, I still really enjoy invertebrate macro photography. More recently, I have become fascinated by landscape, and capturing authentic people focused shots.
